Estou a aprender a Amar / I´m learning to Love

Acreditam na possibilidade de amar alguém, mesmo estando com outra pessoa e pensando amá-la, sem desvendarmos este amor inicial? Ou será meramente ilusão?
Do you believe in the possibility of loving someone else, even being with another person and certain about your love? Or is it merely an illusion?

Tal como nos "contos de fadas", o objetivo da história é encontrar a parte que nos irá completar, alguém que oiça quando falamos, que nos abrace sem pedir, que nos beije sem esperar, que nos ame sem questionar.
Maybe it´s like in "fairy tales", the main goal of the history is to find the half that will complete us, someone who hears us, someone who hug us without asking, someone kiss us without expecting, that love us without questions.

No entanto, no percurso desta procura, muitas vezes pensamos já ter encontrado esta metade mas... e quando aparece outra que nos parece encaixar melhor?
Meanwhile, while we search for it, we often think that part is already found but... when another part appears that seems to fit better with us?

Será o primeiro amor desvalorizado na atenção pelo segundo (ou terceiro)? 

Ou necessitamos encontrar um equilíbrio pessoal antes de quaisquer decisões?
Will the first love be devalued because of the attention of the second love (Or third)?
Or do we need to find some kind of personal balance before any decisions?

O ser humano nasce incompleto, insatisfeito, indeciso, questionado.
The human being is born incomplete, unsatisfied, indecisive, questionable.

Houve alturas em que não podia estar solteiro, tinha a "saudade" de ter alguém para apoiar-me, segurar-me, amar-me. Mas... o que realmente precisamos em primeiro lugar não é deste alguém que pensamos nos faltar, mas sim do nosso próprio alguém por descobrir, valorizar e cuidar. 

There were times I couldn´t be single, I had that "missing part" to have someone to support me, hold me, love me. But... what we really need at the first place is not that someone that we think missing, but our own someone to find, value and care.

Temos o hábito de valorizar o TU do que o EU, focamos de forma tão intensa em agradar quem queremos que esquecemos de regar a nossa alma.... alma que terá que estar saudável para ligar-se com outra sem controlo nem o "medo" de ficarmos sozinhos.
We have the habit to value more the YOU than the ME, we focus so much into please someone that we want that we forget to water our soul... the soul that will keep us healthy to connect with another without the control or "fear" of being alone.

Forçamos tanto o Amor que acabamos por prendê-lo pelas piores razões... por medo, por receio, por solidão, por saudade, por (in)felicidade, por trauma, por necessidade! Nunca por Amor!
We force Love so much that we end up locking it for the worst reasons... for fear, for loneliness, for (un)happiness, for trauma, for need! Never for Love!

Assim o fui por muito tempo, relacionamentos totalmente planeados e não simplesmente livres de sentir.
I was like that for a long time, fully planned relationships and not simply free to feel.

Podemos procurar por toda a Terra e Mar que nunca encontraremos esta parte se não construirmos a nossa primeiro.
We can look everywhere but we´ll never find that missing part if we don´t build our own first.
